Default Ash Gray shirt paper

First off, i'm new to this and want to print my own designs.
I have a hix 16x20 press, epson c120 and 1400, now i need some paper.
I plan on pressing to ash gray t-shirts. either 50/50 or 100% cotton. From what I've read it seems like jet-pro sofstretch is the best paper to use but i've only seen it on white shirts. will it work on the ash gray also?

I have printed on ash grey with no problems. Sport grey is too dark. I also use a c120 with JPSS.

I suggest you buy a sample quantity first and try it for yourself. Not everybody is getting the result with other light colored shirt other than white.

jpss works great on ash grey when doing text and some images. Does not do so well with photos as the little fleck lines show up too much on any I have done on the gildan 50-50 and 100 %.
