Default Jet Pro Sof Stretch

My new Sunie press is here and so is a pack of Jet Pro Sof Stretch transfer paper. I am going to use my Epson with Durabrite inks. Any thing I need to know before I start practicing? I wonder how long the transfer has to sit between being printed and pressed? I got some letters and numbers too just to practice.

I also have a pack of ClearSoft transfers coming on Thursday. I felt like I should try a few, I am so clueless about this, but ready to start practicing. I have a tub of practice t-shirts to work with.

Thanks.

Nancy

The ink dries pretty quick on the paper, so you can basically press immediately after printing.

Here is some information, step by step, on how to heat press. People vary a bit in their methods, but this way works fine for me:

transfer paper tips for lasting image - Page 5 - T-Shirt Forums

Clearsoft is another name for Ironall paper. I don't know if you've read any feedback on Ironall or not. Most folks seem to like JPSS paper these days, tho Ironall still has it's share of fans. I used to use Ironall and switched to JPSS because of fade issues with Ironall. I have not used Ironall recently, so maybe that is improved. Both JPSS and Clearsoft will print wonderfully. It's longevity in the wash where the concern is (fading).

Good luck to you and have fun. It's so cool to make shirts, I still love it!
