Alot of people think the manufacturer of Ironall, which is only the name New Milford Photo coined for this paper, is Hyatt, but it's not Hyatt. It's a company called Iya, or Eya. I can't remember which is the correct spelling. Mike from Tshirtsupplies and Ashamutt will remember the correct spelling, tho.
Can you buy directly from the mfg? I don't know, but I don't think so. There are master distributors that the rest of the suppliers get their from. You can get close up the ladder by buying from a master distributor, but that doesn't guarentee the lowest price.
If a reseller is having a good sale, the prices might be better at that level. Sometimes, the prices are just better at that level. I've seen this with
JPSS paper, which is what I use now instead of Ironall.
You are much better off just signing up with all of the suppliers of the paper you want to buy, and hitting up the sales when they happen. I've never paid full price for my Ironall Dark.
