Re: Is the a difference between inkjet and laserjet printers? You should not put inkjet heat transfer paper thru a Laser Printer! If you do, the inkjet paper could melt inside the printer!!
Now, that said, there are *some* inkjet papers that can go thru *some* laser printers, but you *have* to understand which *kind* of laser printer you have and what paper you can put thru it. That is more advanced and for people who are experienced with their products and equipment. As a newbie, don't do it!!! Again, as a newbie - don't do it - because as a very, very good rule of thumb, you do NOT put inkjet heat transfer paper thru a laser printer.
There are very, very few people who are very experienced that do these things, with mixed results. Also, they are using dark papers when they do this, and they know if their laser printer is the heating kind - so they know if the paper will melt or not!
For now, (probably for good):
Use your inkjet heat transfer paper in your inkjet printers... and...
Use Laser heat transfer paper in your laser printers...
I hope this helps. =)
