please help. i am using printer epson 1400
with pigment ink, and soft touch paper
the paper does not bring instruction on how
to set your printer for best quality. when i print foto the face and body looks red.
i have the pictures on 300 resolution. but it look terrible can some one please tell me how
to set the printer and also the resolution and
setting to create my pictures in fotoshop.

Hi Tay,

I set mine to text/image, plain paper. If you are getting too much red, go into printer preferences and reduce the amount of the magneta and lt magenta ink that prints. I believe it is on the second tab in printer preferrences.

hi i am having problem with the black looking green
no matter what i print the black looks green instead
of looking black.

also i need to know if any one know how could i reduce the dark high lights from the faces. when i print it looks
green or blue, of simply to dark.

please help. i started a t shirt business at a flea market
and the pictures they bring always comes out terrible
in this epson 1400 with pigment ink.

Tay,

Are you using 3rd party pigment ink. I am guessing yes since you have the 1400 and that comes with Claria.

Whoever you bought the ink from, you need to call them or go to their website and find out if they have a color profile for you. That may help fix your black.

Yesterday, someone had a problem with their colors on their 1400 with 3 rd party pigment ink, and it turned out the blue was not actually printing. Here's the thread. I have no idea how old your set up is, but this was a recent problem. Maybe something in here can help you, too.
