Default InkFlex Dark and Light

I recently came across a paper called InkFlex Dark and Light....are they one of the standards...Ironall or Alpha Gold...by a different name? Has anyone else used this paper?

Hi TDP,

This could be a paper not related to either of those papers. Does the supplier list who the mfg is?

Toying around with the idea it could be one of the papers you named, and another name for it... then my guesses would be something like this:

*If* I had to take a guess if the paper would be Ironall or Alpha Gold by another name, of the two papers, I would pick Ironall because of the "flex" in the name. Ironall's top quality/feature is the stretchy flexy quality it has.

This name isn't on the original list of "other Ironall names" but that does not mean the paper isn't Ironall (or Alpha Gold) because anytime a supplier decides to add Ironall (or any other paper) to their line up, they can invent a brand new name for it. On our side, if this is a new name for, well, the Ironall is the one I am keeping a list on, then we can add it to the Ironall other name list if it turns out to be Ironall.

If you find out for sure if this paper is another Ironall paper, will you post a note in this thread? Thanks so much.
IRONALL LIGHT other Alternative Names and Suppliers

One thing that can be done is to order a sample supply if you want to try it.. if it's the aquablue back, and stretches with the shirt, that is a pretty good clue it's Ironall.

Ok, TDP, I found it.

Inkflex and Inkflex Dark *are* Ironall by another name, named by Specialty-graphics.

I'll add this name to the list in the thread. Hope this helps. =)

Great!! Because I had just purchased some 1 min. after your post. No one had replied as yet and I was taking a risk that it was some of the "harder" dark paper. Funny..I looked at the site and couldn't find it.... maybe because it was 1:30 in the morning and I was imbibing?..

Glad to help. =) Good to hear you will be getting what you were hoping to order... that always makes for a nice day, doesn't it?

Anytime you see "flex" or "stretch" type words, it's more likely to be an Ironall product, no guarentees, but re-naming seems to go that way as the suppliers seem to like to highlight that feature.

LOL, I haven't seen that word in a long time, I've always loved that word.
