Hi,I am getting ready to transfer onto Heather grey, and Sport grey t-shirts and hoodies and would like to know which transfer paper you would recommend when using these color garments.

Depending on the design, and colors in it, you may be able to use paper for lights on the heather gray. For the sport gray, I would use an opaque paper for darks.

My paper of choice for lights is JPSS (Jet Pro Soft Stretch). For darks, I like Ironall for darks (aka Everlast for darks). Both of these are available at www.heatpressessentials.com.

I used iron-all for lights on a test shirt but the transfer made the shirt lighter in the transfer area on all 3 occasions, also are greys considered light or dark? The design is a simple one color print in royal blue. If there are certain greys that are considered light which ones are they. Thanks

Ash, heather or light greys. Grey however can be darker. I have used Hot peel (JPSS) for heather and ash and they worked very well. Remember the color of the shirt will change the color of the design. It is like mixing crayola colors. If the grey is dark then your blue may look a bit muddy. If it is ash or heather then your blue should be OK.
