inkjet paper...i need both for light and dark...i want paper without a high gloss something more matte...also soft...
JPSS for lights works great, I have not found a dark paper I like yet. I heard Paropy is good for darks. I would like to find somewhere to order samples from. You might want to follow this thread. What inkjet paper for darks has softest hand?
New dark papers are coming out that may be better than the choices we had before.
Neenah has just introduced 2 ImageClip self-weeding transfer paper for darks. They are very expensive! www.Conde.com and www.coastalbusiness.com have them already. Check them out.

Yes, but both of the new self weeding papers are for laser printers.
I just ordered samples of Neenah's new 3G Jet Opaque for inkjet. I'm hoping it will be better the other dark papers I've tried.
try using jet pro from coastal business supplies. Sometimes if you overheat the transfer I find it will yellow. Try backing off slightly and see if it helps. Your machine may be running hotter than required. try the jet pro
Ed, I have an epson 1100 w/bulk ink and a Maxx 126 x 26 press. Both have been brought to their knees. I just bought your new clear soft 730/430 and everything is great until the last inch of printed sheet. Other papers release well but this one seems to hang up. Whats the cause? I use both the light and dark clear soft and after 8 years of shirts, really enjoy their improved features. Lately I've been peeling when cooled and find fewer problems this way. No lifting of a hot transfer, no burned fingers. I put clear soft head to head with jpss and clearsoft won out. I tried four other transfer sheets and they did not cut it. I washed all of them 8 times without turnng them inside out. I dried them at high heat (just like a housewife would do) and clear soft was great. My wife was happy to get her washer and dryer back after my testing. I did varied temps, pressures and seconds. Things are great except for this release problem. Any ideas. I am going to have to limit my printed sheets by one inch if a fix cannot be found. JJTERRYAH
ed, I am jack Terryah, member #94465. I posted about my printer and heat press being brought to their knees due to the dark clearsoft hanging up. I tried the email address that were to go to lgates and both of my submissions came back. Can you forward the on line forum message for me? By the way, the Maxx press I bought from Proworld was a wonderful addition to my equipmnt. Jack Terryah
Ed, I just ran some of my older transfer sheets through the printer and they did not hang up in the 1100 at all. I've tried to access the "lgates" person and I cannot underline Pro as you have it in the address. This dumb new yahoo mail box is for the birds as it will not work in the email address slot. I guess I'll have to rely on some of my older transfer sheets and forget about using the clearsoft dark. I have a large order coming up for a military reunion and I can't afford to wait much longer. Thanks Jack Terryah
