| | ProWorld Heat Press and Service thoughts.
Hello to all. (my first post. Yipee).
My wife and I are older. (in our 50's). We recently started a side business doing tee's because my wife sits on a school fundraising board and we saw an opportunity. We purchased the Proworld 15x15 press.
I wanted you to know that we returned it and upgraded to the 16x20 auto. The 15x15 press worked fine for a beginner. If you are not established and doing production work, I'd say go with a unit like this. I say this specifically because of the service we received from Ed. I am not really sure if we overreacted by returning the unit because I felt the heat was not consistent enough throughout the Platen. In the end, all the tees we did were fine anyway. (Vinyl). Any mistakes that occurred were probably our own. Since my wife is a tiny thing, we decided to get the larger unit with the slide out platen. I can't tell you that I am an expert on heat presses, but I can say that working with a Company that stands behind their products when you are just getting started makes a lot of sense. Ed never questioned our motives. He simply offered to replace it with something that would make us happy and he did so right away. Thats my .02 cents. I'm glad I went with Pro-World.
