Cool Is the fuse on the Trans Pro heat press accessible?

So Ed, are you pimping the transpro 15X15? Is this a better machine?
is the 1400W, 12.5AMP built-in fuse accessible as we may be in interesting locations with this device. I see it cooks up to 500 degrees. Is the temp control precise? We don't wanna scorch our stuff.

Not at all. As I said, the price is very good for a usable machine. Regarding the TransPro, yes the fuse is accessible. However, we have never had to replace one. The temperature needed for applying transfers is usually around 385. There is no need to set the temperature to the maximum.

but the temp control is precise right? If we set it at 375 it's good for +/- a few degrees right? Will ambient temp affect temp setting?
If we are at a festival or other on site location the power supply may be questionable, which is why I'm asking about the fuse. I wouldn't want a surge to take us down

The temperature should be accurate within about +/- 2 or 3%. Once again, that has never been a problem. Ambient temperature should not be a factor. Please give me a call if you need more information. 800-678-8289 or email at info @proworldinc.com.

mod edit: I just re-re-read the previous thread and noticed that the original poster and boxoffrogs were partners asking the same question in the same thread. Sorry for mixing things up ::
