Default Should I change my blade for cutting flock

Hi Im using a 45degree blade to cut both sign vinyl and tshirt vinyl. However I have been cutting some flock and wondered should I change my blade to a 90degree.

I have noticed on the flock I most recently cut that sometimes inside the points of the "M" and N on small type doesnt seem to cut all the way into the point. Im cutting on the slowest speed possible and the weeding process comes out real easy apart from the odd problem area as mentioned. it isnt on all of them.

I did sucessfully cut the same graphic a few weeks ago (in the same flock) and it was perfect!!!! Do the blades dull and get blunt? Should I install a new 45degree?

Please help im really confused and getting rather frustrated.

Thanks
James

This won t totally clear up your confusion but here goes. I know people who use the same blade for almost anything they do,and yes the blades do get dull. I ve used a regular blade mostly but had someone give me an actual flocking blade and wow what a difference. This thing just sliced through the flock like butter. I did have to play with the settings, pressure mostly. So now I have 2 blade holders, one with the flocking blade and one with the regular just makes life easier overall.
