Hello My forum friends!!!

I finally bought my first press and went with Stahls' Maxx.

I have a couple of concerns though. I just opened it up and where the center pressure adjustment knob is there is insulation popping out. Is this something I should be concerned with?

Also, the heat platen seems a little wobbly. Is this normal?

Am I being too picky?

If there is just a small amount of insulation that appears I would not be concerned. You can just take a pointed object and stick the insulation back into the opening. The platen is supposed to wobble slightly. You might also want to check with the supplier if you feel that these are impairing the use of the press.
