Re: Help Cleaning Rhinestone Transfer off Top Platen Here's technique that iIve used several times. If your heater has is teflon coated.... this will work.
step one, get a cheap plastic (not metal!) spatula from Dollar General or something.
step two, heat the press back up to operating temp,375f or so...
step three, gently...gently scrape off the "leftovers" off with the cool new spatula.
There will still be a little adhesive on the heater. Use a DRY rag or two and wipe the element until it somes clean.
In the future, it may be a good idea to use a cover sheet when heat pressing.
