My partner and I are about to buy our first heat press and after thoroughly reading through the forum we have settled on the Hotronix Auto-Open 16 x 20 Clam.

I am wondering where I can get the best deal from a good reputable dealer. Everywhere I have found it seems to have it at $1375 plus shipping. I want to make sure we get the best deal possible given how much this press will set us back.

Also, other than the teflon sheets, are there any other supplies/accessories I should consider.

I appreciate any input anyone can provide.

One last note - this forum is EXCELLENT!! It is great to find such an open and thoughtful community of people who have a true interest in helping each other. My partner and I are new to this business but have found this forum invaluable for gathering information.

yea this site is it aint it? But just wanted to tell u that that Im buying my press today & Ive been going from site to site for a while checkin prices & reading specs. The Hotronix is def a great choice & Josh over at imprintables wharehouse showed me love with my press. Clay at Coastal Business will take care of you too.

Also dont forget to look on the left hand side of the page to the sponsors that have yellow stars next to them. Those vendors offer special forum discounts which can save you some money. If I am not mistaken I think I got mine from Specialty graphics. It looks like both specialty and coastal have a 5% forum discount Hope this helps.

you can get an excellent press with low miles for cheep

I bought mine from Coastal Business Supplies. They gave free shipping on it. I also believe they have a forum member discount, or at least used to.
