Yea!! finally got my 15x15 Mighty Heat Press through customs and opened it up ready to start pressing up an order I've already got through my old work and the *SMACK (that's the sound of me hitting a brick wall at full speed!) Can't press my shirts as the Press turned up in 110volt format *%###* and *&^#$#!!!

I know I made sure to request it in 220volt and was told that wasn't going to be a problem........

So anyway, no point getting grumpy now, what's done is done and all that.

My question then is, does anyone know if there's any other way of getting this thing going that doesn't include paying 300Bux for a stepdown transformer or $500 shipping this thing back to Coastal and having a 220volt shipped back to me?

Hoping maybe there's an internal switch, or ????? I dunno? something!

They offer a kit for $35 to convert it. I don't know what is involved in converting it, but I bet you could figure it out or get in touch with Stahls to talk you through it.

thanks! I'll get on to Stahls and see. I'll bet it's still cheaper to have that shipped over from the US than contact Stahls here in NZ
