Default Quick Slip Pad...is it gonna fit??

Hi all,

I just got my Stahl's MAXX 16x20 and need a little nudge. I have a quick slip pad for the lower platen. When I try to put the thing on, it gets close but I am afraid to tug too much to make it fit because it seems like the pad would tear if I yank too much. I am new to all this equipment and am probably just paranoid; how much can / should I pull this thing to make it fit??

Thanks always.
Lee

Oh go ahead and give it a good tug. If it came with the heat press, or from the same supplier, it should fit. Me, I just bought an extra ironing board cover and that's what I use.
