Default Best Heat Press for ChromaBlast

Hi all.
I have recently ordered a chromablast system b/c I was having cracking issues with regular heat transfers that I just think are unacceptable. My press is a pretty cheap one that I'm just coming to realize. My issue with chromablast is that the entire image is not transferring to the fabric and I'm pretty sure the reason is b/c of a lack of pressure from my cheap press.
If anyone can tell me the best press to use for chromablast it would be much appreciated as I am now in the market for a new one. I want a good one this time around but I really don't want to spend more than 1500 on it. Of course I'd rather spend much less if able but I know you get what you pay for. Unfortunately I've already wasted 150 on a cheap press.
Thanks in advance!!!

Hi Plyler,

Unless you *know* you want a swing away press, or that you know you want a clamshell, all good preses are going to do the same thing, apply heat and pressure. The main thing you have to decide is if you want a swingaway, clamshell, what size, new, used, brand name, Sunie, warranty, and what bells and whistles you want, or don't.

There are alot of popular presses on the forum that folks are happy with, mainly the name brand ones and the Sunie. I believe the name brands and Sunies carry warranties.

If you look to the left, there are preferred vendors over there, and the ones with stars offer discounts to forum members. Maybe compare some of the suppliers, and what presses they offer.

With ChromaBlast, you really want a swing away because you need heavy pressure. The more the pressure, the better you drive the polymer into the shirt and it will prevent it from cracking. Just make sure that the press you get is made from good steel. If it is made cheap, then the heavy pressure will bend the support arm and prevent even pressure.

I've narrowed it down to 3 presses. I like the idea of the swing away. Seems like it would make it easier to place the tees and image before pressing.
What do you guys think about these three...help me choose!
Hix Swingman15 15x15 Swinger Heat transfer press
Mighty Digital Heat Press 15 X 15
Geo Knight 14 x 16 Digital Clamshell Heat Press

I'm leaning towards the hix swingman b/c it's a swing away but I really need what will give me the most pressure. It's hard to tell on the site...coastal business. None of them say too much about pressure.
