I have an old heat press I inherited and hardly used because it really needs some work. I posted in the printer forum to see if I can use my existing Epson, so I thought would I start gathering info on getting a new press.

I want to make t-shirts for the most part. These will be for small orders and mostly for projects at my church. I am hoping my Epson will work and I can print my own transfers. I haven't researched anything but printing my own transfers so far. I have seen shirts with large numbers and letters, so maybe if I can figure that out, I will want to do that too.

I don't want to invest a lot, I want to make sure my printer will be adequate and I can get the hang of this. Any opinions on a decent heat press that isn't really expensive? I read about the Seiki press and they seem to be a good deal with mostly good reports.

The Seiki/Sunie one is the one I would recommend... or something that might be passing thru the classifieds here. I have been seeing some good deals go thru there in the last few months.
