I have been extra peppy this week because I recieved my first order! Im making 19 shirts for a club at school. Last week i purchased 25 Soft Stretch heat transfer sheets and 25 Jerzees heavyweight 50/50 polyblend tees. My concern is that i need to have these shirts done in a week and i havent completely made up my mind on what kind of heat press I want to purchase. I read online that if you can pull it off right, the transfers can actually turn out looking pretty slick. Later on today I'm heading into town to visit a few antique stores. I'm hoping to find an older iron that will get fairly hot and has a little more weight than todays models. If anyone has any experience with using these old irons, let me know how it went. Thx
Think of the impression you want to make for your business with your first ever order. Do you want to tell your customer that you didn't have the right equipment to do their shirts, and that is the reason why they aren't happy with your product? Or do you want to ask them to spread your name around since they are pleased with your work? Either bite the bullet and get a real press or just make t-shirts for you and your drinking buddies.
Ok well i see these people every day. They wont just ask for their monkey back. Im making a sample shirt when the sheets get here. I was just trying 2 get some info on press on techniques. Im only charging $10 so they arent too picky. This is a temporary set up. Im low on cash at the moment, made a few bad investments and im just waiting til things are back to normal to get a heat press. I would just like someone who has experience with jetpro sheets to give me a prediction
