It doesnt identify the brand. I would avoid those and stay with the well known heat presses like Hix, Knight and others.

Be careful.
I bought one of those Chinese ebay presses in January.
Crapola.
Luckily, they refunded my money.
Do some checking around. Since then, I have found lots of postings talking about underated wiring with arcing/sparking and cords burning up.
Yeah, not good.
You'd do better to check with something used via craigslist or forum classifieds than to buy one of those.

I know from experience, as stated, the wiring is not like ours. I had one start on fire. you can get shocks also. Pressure and heat is terrible, you'll get what you paid for, believe me on this one.

The stuff you see on ebay in that price range is junk.

If it doesn't work right or electrocutes you or starts a fire, what have you saved? The reason they sell at that price is because of the lack of quality.

Another reason to go with a name brand is resale value. If it is used and in good condition, you can generally get about 75% of your money back on the secondary market. You won't be able to give an XMTE or the other no-name brands away.

You get what you pay for.

Have you considered buying a used one? I just bought a used Hix heat press for $200 on Craigslist.
