Default Quality of resulting print after heat press?

Greetings,

I am new to this and ready to get started. I am at the stage of selecting the right Heat Press Machine. I have looked at several articles comparing the main manufacturers and they were helpful, but my question is what heat press will give me the best, natural, END PRODUCT after pressing my transfer onto a shirt? I don't want something that will FEEL like there is a Kodak picture in the middle of the shirt nor something that will eventually wash away. Know what I mean?

Is this relevant to the heat press? Or am I totally off track here.

Thanks!

hello.

Any good quality heat press like a Stahls or Hix is fine.

What you may need to do is choose the transfer types that you will like best for your needs.

Plastisol Transfers are very, very, good quality for that screen printed look.

Vinyl, Flock, Foils and such material transfer types are also extremely good.

Good meaning, professional brands used them due to the look and feel and yes, great quality.

hope this helps,

velcome to t-shirtforums.

Thanks T-Bot... so basically from what I've been looking at, one would have to spend ~$500 on a decent heat press machine (15x15).

There are machines that are less money and of very good quality.
