 maintenance / pressure problem hix HT-600
Hello tshirt forum members...
I bought a HIX HT-600 second hand.
when i bought it the seller told me that i might have to change the "springs" in the future, so he showed me under the press there is 3 springs there, 2 on one side and 1 on the other side.
now my question is, am I suppose to have 2 springs on each sides?
because it seems that i need to apply a LOT of pressure to have a correct result.
My transfers are from Air Waves Inc. and it need 45-50 lbs psi at 375/385 for 6-8seconds.
Now it's really hard to close the press when i have the correct pressure set, i need someone to hold the back of the press or hold it mysleft to close it really hard. If i set it up so that i can close it easily, then i can see that there's not enought pressure because the ink is not IN the tshirt.
