The epson website gives good descriptions of both printers:

C88+:
http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/c...s&oid=63059194

1280:
http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/c...s&oid=28907797

These threads should help as well:

Different types of transfers:
how to make your own transfers without the white paper border around the design

Which transfers to use:
what transfer to go with

Opaque transfers are inkjet transfers for dark garments.

Depends on which paper you want to purchase. You can find some good suppliers here: http://www.t-shirtforums.com/view_sponsoroffers.htm

CoastalBusiness.com, Imprintables.com, BestBlanks.com, are some good places to start.

Different printing formats.....size of prints. Different ink set up...4 color and six color.

Here is another question for Epson folks. The new Epson printers are loaded with an ink termed Colura or some variation. Is there any info on this ink for transfers?

I believe it is Claria and I also am curious if anybody has tested it.
