I wonder how many time can I wash the tshirts printed with heat-tranfer papers.
Can someone answer that for me please~

I think it depends on the paper, inks, pressure applied, water temperature, etc.

I have some shirts I did for my daughters that get washed all the time and they still look good. I think most of us have run tests by washing shirts over and over. I've done some maybe twenty times and noticed only a small fading. Your results may vary.

I always wash in cold temp in wash and rinse with the shirt turned inside out. I actually printed care instructions on business card with a full color logo and put it with each item sold.

Also use pigment inks. The Epson Durabrite inks are pigment inks. They are water resistent.

Basically, if done correctly, normal heat transfer prints WILL last a long time. It's hard to give any specifics because of all the variables (paper, ink, shirt, how it was washed, etc.), but they can and will last several years without fading or cracking significantly.

Opaque transfers, on the other hand, will not last as long. They are more likely die before the shirt does potentially starting to peel and/or crack after several washes, etc.

Depending on the quality of your transfer sheet you should be able to wash the shirt 25-50 times without a problem.

with the 2 step Opaque Transfer we have made in the past, they last forever. Using CLC transfers along with our NO-name brand opaque material.
