Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
Need help ASAP ... we are at a show and heat press is not working right ... there are some black spots on our sunie heat press and where the spots are the transfer doesn't transfer ... please help me quick!!! BTW ... have used it for less then 50 presses ... it's brand new! Please we are desparate ... we need this press for our show for the next 10 days! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Usually when a area won't press correctly and it is always the same spot it is more than likely a cold post in the press.
If this is the case there is no fix that I have heard of that can take care of it.
If there is a fix someone let me know because I have a cold spot in one of my heat presses.

Since its new, contact the manufacturer/distributor. Surely it's in warranty. Have them overnight you one.
Thank you for your responses ... was hoping there was an easy fix ... guess the way the last few weeks have been this shouldn't surprise me ... ER twice and then totalled a car ... should have stayed home this week ... was wishful thinking this week would have been better!
Thank you everyone for your responses! I called Sunie directly and have been communicating with them through email, have sent them pictures of the platen that I attached in my first post here. They asked what transfers, time and temp I was using and I told them, 375 and 6-8 as per directions and they responded that it takes 15 seconds or more, I told them not for the transfers I am using. Was just looking for a miracle quick fix and didn't get it, so cancelled next weeks show
Sounds like you got the run-around. A good reputable mfg.-distributor would not have put you in a position of having to cancel your show. I do not know a lot about the t-shirt business but I do know what is the right thing to do and this was not it. Good luck to you.
