Default I melted my first Zipper!!

How about that....I couldnt figure out why I had all these thready thingys all over the front of the shirt. Until I took a closer look. The zipper is good and melted!

So my question is (before I try this again) if I use a teflon sheet over the shirt and zipper will it melt again?

Incase you ever need to know how to get the gooey stuff off your platen, I pressed many pieces of homemade paper....I suspect paper towels would work the same.

Default Re: I melted my first Zipper!!

welcome to the Zipper Melt club.

i just try to stay away from perssing with the hot plate direct heat on to the zipper.

If you can elevated the area you need to print so that there is no direct contact with the hot plate and the zipper, that works.
