Does anyone have any tried and true tips on pressing multiple layers of vinyl on tshirts?(time, temperature,pre pressing etc..) I have a hotronix heat press(16x20) and am using spectra vinyls for the moment. I've found that their instructions for the first layer don't seem to get the layer to adhere very well and have upped the time on that step.

Just looking for tips and ideas-what has worked well for you and what hasn't.

Just a note-I've been happy w/ the quality of spectra vinyls so far, not sure yet about thermoflex(difficulty peeling-which thanks to all the posts on the forums I've fixed now).

With thermoflex it is 5 to 7 seconds first press and 25 seconds second press.

Does the multi layers make it feel like crap?

Two arent so bad if its not a great big oval or something. I would not like three layers.

I agree, anything more than two layers is not good, unless you want it to be a bulletproof print.

I've only used multiple layers for names and numbers on backs of sweatshirts. It seems to be a trend in our area, so I want to get it done right.
I agree more than two would be pretty thick.
