Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
My company has just entered into the world of heat transfers specifically vinyl. Just wondering if any of you have tried pressing vinyl on towels, and if so did you have any luck with it? Just wasn't sure how well it would transfer with the surface not being smooth.
Heat press them (towels)for about 10-15 seconds to get out the excess moisture, plus it lays the nap down. We usually press the vinyl for %50 longer than on tees. Cure time will depend on your vinyl type. I think it looks pretty nice, but not sure how it holds up.

We do the Spirit Towels a lot, but they don't get wasjed a ton and tend to have a smoother side for showing the artwork off. Beside the adhereing issues that may come up, I would think it would have a firmer hand, so you may want to try a flock material also if it adheres ok.
