Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
If there is anyone who has used both heatpresses can you please explain the difference in the use of both, advantages/disadvantages. Is it worth spending and extra $100 for the Mighty Press Clam over the MP Lite and if so why?
The Lite version doesnt have the durability of its cousin. It also doesnt have the timer. For me the timer isnt an issue but being able to do more presses without issue is well more than worth the extra $100. If youre just going to do a few presses a week, wont need a built in timer or will be carring your unit around to shows and such, then the Lite model is the one. Plus from what I remember, you cant get the Lite in anything larger than a 15x11. I love the heavier feel and timer in my 15x15 Mighty Press.

MP Lite has a hinge like opening and no timer. Regular Mighty Press has a shock opening for the 11 x 15 and a spring like opening for 15 x 15 and 16 x 20, and a push button or bell timer depending on the size. Definitelt and I mean DEFINITELY recommend the step up to the regular Mighty Press.
