hoping to get help on some pricing from you expert heat press guys, i mainly do screen printing but im starting to get more orders for heat pressed names numbers etc.,

here what the customer wants. she will be suppling 33 reversable basketball mesh jerseys.

she wants them printed on both sides, front and back(front with team name and number, back with just number), and we will also be printing the same thing on the reversed side of the jersey. total of 132 heat presses (4 per jersey)

i was thinking of using thermoflex

I have done a bunch in the last few weeks...What jerseys are you thinking of using? Badger has a wide selection....if you want them to look good I would suggest a solid mesh not the mesh with all the holes (they look more like practice jerseys). I can get you part number and $$ that I have done lately, but not till tonight. PM me if you are wanting some numbers. The other thing you need to watch out is pressing the white or light number/letter/logos last. Press the darks then flip the shirt and press the lights.

I would charge about $12.20, based on two sets of 8"x8" numbers and a team name of 2"x12" on each side.

so 12.50 for 4 prints total per jersey. basically $3.12 per print. from what i price with thermoflex its about that price just for the material. maybe im doing something wrong

1. team name and number on front of jersey
2. number on back
3. team name and number on front on the reversed side of same jersey
4. number on back on the reversed side of same jersey

You will have $8 in material, so you might want to add some more since you are not making anything on the items (if they are provided).

so does $16 sound like to much to cut, weed, and apply. should i be more or less. i have a friend thats said to charge $20 but i thought it was high thats why i came in here to ask

You have to think also about how difficult it is to weed. The number will be easy as in seconds, so it all depends on the name. I am sure that $16 is not to much.

great now you got me thinking, i really hate weeding......maybe $20 sounds right. i guess it depends how desperate i im for the job. last question would do you think $20 is to much.

I was refering to the fact I bet it takes you NO time at all to weed them. It would be different if you had a real detailed front logo.

If it was me I would not be charging $20...I think that is high, but if you can get it I would go for it.
