Default Epson C120 or R280?

Have a chance to get a great deal on either an Epson C120 or R280 on Craigslist for under $30, which would you choose.

The C120 uses pigment ink. The R280 dye ink. Most here will tell you the pigment ink is better and more durable. Some here will tell you that's not true.

What is true is most here use pigment ink for inkjet transfers.

I would do a search on both inks here and see the pros and cons. My choice would be the C120.

Joe has nailed it...if you want to do transfers..go with C120...Just so you know the C120 takes 5 carts...2 black and one each of cyan, magenta and yellow
