I ordered a press and some transfers from them and after 2 weeks of emailing them and receiving no reply I called them. They said that even though the site said the items were in stock that they had to order them and have them shipped to their location. I canceled my order and ordered somewhere else.

I also ordered a heat press from them and waited 3 weeks with no contact from them at all.. When I finally called to just cancel the order, the person was very non chalant about it and wasn't even curious why I was cancelling. This tells me it must happen quite frequently with them.. I wish you luck getting your paper..)

Transjet II/Magic Jet is a quality paper used by many. You shouldn't have any problems with cracking if they are applied correctly. I'm exclusively using this paper for any normal heat transfer work. If the hand (how the transfer feels on the shirt) is an issue at all, you might also check out IronAll/SoftFeel; this paper is harder to work with but provides a softer hand.

I've had bad service from Boo-Z as well. Placed an order, got an e-mail confirmation for the order and was told it would be a few days before it arrived. I waited over a week, called them and was told they never received the order so I re-ordered over the phone and it took over two weeks for me to get it... and it was missing transfers and had some I hadn't even ordered.

Needless to say they will never have my business again.

On behalf of Boo-Z Wearhouse.com I would like to say paper orders usually go out the next day they are ordered.

Presses are a "Build on Demand" item and when you go to check out there is a notice stating:

Quote:
"PLEASE NOTE: If you are ordering a press please allow 2 - 3 weeks for the items to ship.

SPECIAL NOTICE: Shipping is calculated during shipping process and will be show on package invoice.
Your card is not charged until the package ships. Please note that Delivery method is ignored if you are ordering Gift Certificates or Electronically distributed products."
I have personally responded to each email I have recieved about problems with orders and try to rectify every issue.

I use Boo-Z for plastisol transfers. Our company deals with well over 100 different vendors besides them. Yes, I have had problems but, they have responded appropriately when contacted.

One time I was not happy with the resolution of a design. The person I talked to checked out their end and said the product was unacceptable and sent new sheets out the next day. The other time I didn't get my order in the normal few days. When I called they found that they got my order mixed up with a different customer's order because the designs were very similar (fire department related.) Again, they quickly solved the problem.

All of our vendors screw up occasionally. Mistakes happen to humans. I tend to judge vendors more on how they handle things in the long run. We want long term relationships with our vendors as well as our customers. This means a little give and take once in a while.

They ship our orders within days of receipt. I have yet to have a single problem applying anything they have sent me. The order process is simple and reliable. They have rapidly responded to problems when notified.

Their problem seems to be in communications. In this "dawn of the web" environment, a lot of companies are putting up web sites and then not taking the time to monitor the traffic it generates. I have had emails returned from the contact person of a web site weeks after clicking the "Contact Us" button on their site. Consequently, I have learned to start using the phone again when email doesn't get the job done.

yeah, i guess orders do end up in the wrong pile now and then. It happens to the best of us.

Its not a big expense to have 2-3 people monitor web orders and customer service emails 24/7. and reply in a short time, it really does pay off.... way better than Auto-Responders. At the same time they can come on boards like these as I have and have some fun.

Have a safe and Happy Holiday.

thanks for sharing.
