Default Plastisol Transfers Questions

Ok so I am still learning, but what exactly is a plastisol transfer?
Do you buy plastisol paper for it and print using a printer?
Or is it a screenprinted job.

Basically I want to make top notch looking shirts. I have read around and people say you can get other comapanies to do it for you.

But how can I do it? What do I need to?
Im confused on how its done so any explanation would be good

You don't need to buy a screenprinting press. You just hire a company to make the transfers for you.

Here's a thread with a list of suppliers:
Where do you buy YOUR custom plastisol transfers? - a list of vendors!

Here's a video showing how to apply the transfer:

No No No.. that's why we use plastisol transfers. So WE, us guys that use heat press can duplicate the screen printed shirts. We have the plastisol transfers made for us by companies that make screen printing only we don't have the mess. If we screen printed we would not be using plastisol transfer. 65% of what I do is plastisol transfers. Hope that helps clear it up. Watch my videos..

Is there companies in Australia that offer a service to make these transfers?
