Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
I just tried to order some TransJet II transfer paper from Coastal Business Supplies...and the rep* informed me that TransJet II & their Coastal Brand of transfer paper are the same...she actually told me to purchase the Coastal Brand because of the cost and she says it has a softer hand... I wanted to get some samples but the rep* says that it will take a week until it gets to me....since I cannot purchase iron-all paper I'm unsure what to know...I have kinda jumped in a commitment to do some tshirts by next tuesday...has anyone used both brands?.which one should I pick?...I'm printing a photo on these shirts so I really need the best paper possible under short notice.
Also I have an Epson 1280 and should be using regular inks or something else? for photos being printed on 100% cotton Tshirts? SORRY FOR SO MANY QUESTIONS*

Well, I'm no heat press expert, but if you can't purchase ironall, and most people use the coastal brand/transjet II paper if they aren't using ironall, I would say to go ahead and order that.
We do not promote or try to sell our paper by saying that it is the same as TransJet II, but in order to clarify this matter on the forums, the answer is yes. The only difference between our "Coastal Brand" transfer paper and TransJet II is the back print.
well ..thats the response I got from the rep*...but its fine as long as I have good transfer paper it doesnt matter who makes it. but thanks for the heads up everyone.
