Angry Faulty Ebay Heat Press

Just doing a poll to see how many people bought a heat press on Ebay which turned out to be faulty and you were unable to return it. I bought my heat press from a company called Nordale which worked fine for about 2 months then it literally caught a fire. Company then said they would refund my money never did.

I purchased a heat press off of Ebay when I first started years ago. For the first few years things were fine, I think now I have a cold spot as one section when pressing JPSS will not transfer and it is always that same spot.
I may have been lucky as my press lasted a few years before this problem. Luckily I had another press that I won so it really didn't hurt as much, and I only paid about $130 including shiping so the press has more than paid for itself.
Will I ever buy one from Ebay again? Sure if it is from a reputable company or good used quality press from a reputable company that someone is selling, but the press I purchased was a Chinese made press, with no name, no serial, and no where to get parts from to fix. That type of press I will never buy again.

I started with a GeoKinght that was 12x14. I wanted a bigger one and bought a large no name press from ebay.
It sucked. I couldn't get a good transfer from it for anything. After giving up on it and going back to the GeoKnight, I couldn't believe how well the GeoKnight worked. I didn't appreciate it until then.
The GeoKnight broke after a year and a half (and many many press) but I was happy with. Now I have a 16x20 Hotronix. Well worth the money. I love that press.
Oh, and I did get a refund on my ebay press.
