Default Need Help with Printing - I'm a newb :|

Hello,
I have a Roland SP300 versacamm printer and want to print heat transfers for some of our own shirts. I'm not sure as to what type of material we should use to make it look good. We did a prototype of one shirt and it looked like we just slapped a sticker on the shirt ..
we used Solutions Opaque.. Any help, tips or ideas would be greatly, greatly appreciated.
Thank you

That is the nature of the best. Opaque stays on top of the shirt to block the color of the shirt. Unlike the polymer for light garment the ink and polymer sinks into the fibers.

I have seen a sample pressed with solutions at a trade show. It looked and felt better than other opaque that I have tried. It also was very stretchy and did not crack when stretched. Maybe you need more pressure or temp to make it look descent.

BTW did you contour cut it?

I have been experimenting for awhile with the same thing. I found that the stretchprint from Stahls gives it the silkscreened look while the classic gives it a shinier look. I have also tried the Colorprint Evolution from Siser and it has a dull finish that looks screened. If you want a super shiny look, use the 2160 from Specialty Materials. I also like a product called Forever but you can only use it on light or white or 100% cotton. Hope this helps.
