The R1800 is a large format printer. it uses 8 inks (Overkill as for as I am concerned and make price per transfer expensive) It does use ultrachrome pigment inks so that is good news and it is not cheap.

Hi there!

I would recommend the Jet II paper on a roll for light colors if your printer is the large format type. Standard roll sizes are usually 17" or 24" wide. For dark paper, I do not know of any rolls available other than the Roland HTM media. You might try that from a production standpoint. If you con't like the results, you can of course use a standard blue grid opaque paper in an 11 x 17 size. Do you have an optic eye cutter? The reason I ask is that if your printer does accept the roll of paper, you can print registartion points on the roll and feed it through a cutter to trim around. Much more production friendly than feeding sheet by sheet through the cutter

Cool Thanks for the info...Yea it is a 13" inch wide printer and i could use Rolls for it. I also have a graphtec 24" 300mk vinyl cutter. How does this registration to cut transfers work?

Also is it cheaper to buy heat transfer paper by the roll ? I found that one in coastalbusiness..does anyone have experience using it?

I would highly appreaciate it! Thanks
