Default no idea how to setup a file for a transfer

hi there

Pretty new to all this, just to clarify and prepare you to what's about to come

I have my press and I haven't done any jobs since I want to know what I'm doing before asking for $$ - quite honest I guess

My question here is how should I setup my design if I want to order plastisol transfers ?
I have a full time job and got into this due to the lack of honesty and professionalism of my previous t-shirt printer.

I want to make a t-shirt for me to use on my job and I want it to be plastisol (don't know why but that's what I want). Received a few samples from ACE and they look good, but I'm completely in the dark on how to prepare my file for them to use on my custom transfers. it also might be my first item in my future portfolio for sure .

Any help will be appreciated

I have access to Illustrator and Photoshop if that matters. Design is 3 colors.

You can create your design in Illustrator or pay them to create it for you.

Just ask ACE what format they want.

I didn't express myself correctly I guess.
I know it's got to be in vector format and I already have my file vectorized, I was hoping that someone might talk from their own experience to see what to do and what to avoid while preparing the file.

thanks y'all for the replies

Check with your chosen plastisol supplier.
