Question problem with plastiol ink transfers

i printed a white plastiol ink transfer on transfer paper. I also used adesive powder and ran it through the drier. When i used the heat press most of the image came off the transfer paper and the image wasnt as dark like it should of been. what stayed on the paper was a very small amount of ink. What am i doing wrong?

Transfers do require some trial and error although it sounds like you did very well for your first print. You may have better luck asking in the screenprinting forum since very few here actually print transfers.

Did you use a hot split or a cold peel paper?

I just did my first one that I had printed and I only used 360 degrees, you might just cut one transfer up and adjust press and temp for the different peices.
