Default Pressing on Poly/Spandex Blends.. Distourtion.

I am pressing on a Polyester / Spandex blend but the same question applies for regular 100% Polyester as well.

how come i'm getting creases from when i press on my garments? Meaning when i take the shirt off the press there is a perfect square from where the press meets the shirt.

Will it come out with the first washing of the shirt? Or did I use too much pressure or too much heat? and somehow the material melted a little bit?

Any thoughts? these are sports uniforms ..

it wont come out...seems like poly material melts a little when pressed. there are foam kits out there made to minimize the lines...but heavy pressure is an issue regardless!

I guess with regular wear and such and maybe a couple washes and low temp dry's will probably fix it and normal it out.
