Default Anyone foiling shirts?

I put the foil on shirts a lonnnggg time ago. You had to buy the design it was a black iron transfer then you pressed the foil on to the shirt. I never throw anything away so I have some of the 4" wide rolls in the "craft" room.

The problems with the process is that foil didn't last very long and you could only use the pre-made designs.

Recently I saw a shirt website selling the foiled shirts and there was foot note that foil would wear off.

Does current foiling technique work well?
Would you recommend someone adding it to their shirts?

Thanks,
Los

I have purchased commercially made shirts with foil and yes after repeated washings, the foil will wear off. It is just the nature of the beast.
