Smile Need help? Heat transfer

Hello to Everyone

i just bought a HIX 16x20 auto release heat press, i also bought some artbrand tranfers from the closeouts.

last night i tried to put them on tshirts (black) 6.1 oz, went trough dozen transfers and none of them would stay.

specs i was using

385 F
10sec, 15sec, 20sec

pre heated the shirts for 10sec

followed the instructions with the tranfers.

i just don't know what else to do.

could use any help

thanks everyone

I would contact ArtBrands. Some of their transfers are difficult to apply. We can also try and help you if you want to call us on Monday.

Maybe the transfers are already dry. There is shelf life for plastisol transfers.

They probably are not 'bad'. Just might have special instructions that we can help you with. Do you have any product numbers?

2 months is not really considered dry.

Rick, I tried artbrand and the same thing happened to me so I went to ProWorld and have been very happy. OR It may be we might be "heat press challenged"

Hey I was wondering what kind of heat press do you have

Is it a hix

i'm just trying to see what is wrong about the process ( the press , the transfers or human error )

Thanks for your help

Rick. I assure you that it is most likely not the heat press. Do you have the product numbers?
