I need HELP!! One of my employees has just put the wrong number on a baseball jersey! She removed the vinyl itself, but it left the residue. She tried to shoot it out with the spot gun and that didn't work. I searched the internet and saw that goo gone should work. She put the goo gone on and before I got to her, she had run it through the dryer (without washing it out). Now the number is still there and is hard, no longer sticky. I have brought it home and tried some other things but nothing is working. Does anyone have any advice on how to remedy this? The jersey is needed for a game tomorrow!!!
Might try heat pressing it with a spare cotton shirt on top to try to absorb it, but not sure if anything will get through the adhesive if its heated to the point that its hard. You don't have time to try to get any TSaver or I'd recommend giving that a shot. Might try soaking that area in goo gone to see if you can get it to soften up some.

Zim international is the maker of thermo letter remover. This is will remove all heat transfers.
However some residue will be left behind when letters are removed.
We have found that a stiff tooth brush will help in the removal of left behind residue. Hope this helps
