Default Chromablast

Well let me tell you... I purchaced the Chromablast system 2 months ago. I am in no way impressed! Epson C88+ printer works fine. I have went thru 2 $75.00 Black Chromablast carts. in maybe 14 prints on 8.5x11 paper. and that is hardly using any black in the graphics. Thats $150.00!!! Tech support at sawgrass just gives me the run around. I installed a new black cart. nov. 30th turned the printer off. turned printer on today 12/5/06 to due a 76 shirt order I got. Printed 1 page and looked fine till half the page was printed then started putting lines thru blue and red print. I did a nozzel check and cleaned the print heads printed another page and did the same thing. I called sawgrass tech supprt. They told be to pull out the black cart and when I did it was empty again! They told me it might look empty but doesnt mean it is. They told me to move print head and spray windex on the sponges and let sit for 15 min. then turn back on and do 2 cleanings then do a nozzel check. when i did the nozzel check no black print and the magenta was barely there. So they have me pull out the chromablast ink and install the epson carts i got with printer. When I did that it printed perfect! I reinstalled the chromablast carts and it didnt print again. so they said we will send you a black and magenta cart. I am sick! That is thier only answer. Sent more ink.

I then put the epson carts in again and made my print with the epson inks on the chromablast paper, transfered it to a t-shirt and it looked Great! I then put it thru 2 wash and dries and it still looks great! I am starting to wonder if it is all in the paper???

Anyone else with chromablast problems?
