Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
One more thing....and obviously I'm new to all of this so I may sound silly and not understand all of the terminology yet.... While transfering just photos onto shirts, I both dark t-shirt/photo transfer paper and all color fabric/photo transfer paper and the following problems occurred: at first, in any black areas of the photo(and not even all of the black areas, just some parts), I was getting sort of white-cloudy looking spots, then I redid it and the spots then appeared on other color parts of the photo (all of this happening on dark or bright colored shirts, green, orange, and yellow). At that time I was using an iron. I recently got a super industrial press but haven't yet tried it out. When I researched the problem, it all seemed to be about temperature and pressure. I have transfered many photos onto shirts, mainly white t-shirts and have never experienced this. Any advice?

Reason: Text color/size
what i meant by that was a digital combo press thats huge and looks like it belongs in a factory...i suppose it will solve the problem if it is indeed related to temp and pressure
Like kelly says, i would use different types of papper for darks and lights, i done the same as you and was getinging such results when i started but went onto useing different types of papper for darks and lights and it all worked out great.
