Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
What type of transfer paper do I use for numbers to go on Soccer Jerseys'? I own an epson inkjet printer if that helps.
Jerseys are made of 100% or high content polyester fabric. Opaque transfer may or may not stick to the fabric. You have to use vinyl such as Thermoflex Extra. Thermoflex Plus will work but I have read some reporting that sometimes it does not stick to jersey. That is why I use Thermoflex Extra. If the color of the shirt is white or light pastel then you can use JPSS Activewear inkjet transfer. It is designed for light colored polyester and nylon fabrics. You have to cut around the numbers to prevent polymer around the numbers from showing.
You can also buy pre cut vinyl numbers. Make sure you specify that it is for jersey or nylon. Stahls sells gorilla grip pre cut numbers.
