Default Heat press

Hello,
We are trying to get into the T-Shirt Business. We are a sign shop, so we have a vinyl cutter, but need information on presses (what size is best, brand) & the best yet most affordable t-shirt vinyl.

Hi, pponie. It'll all depend on your budget. If you're wanting to spend less than like £500-600 on a heat press, you can only really get a small one, unless you can get a good, solid second hand one off of eBay. I got one which was 50 cm by 38 cm off of there for a bit less than £500, and it's a damn good one (it's meant was meant to cost £1000 new). There's not always something good listed on eBay, but it's certainly worth a look. They last forever, it's not really and issue.

If you've got a good budget, then you can get a solid, large swing press from somewhere like The Magic Touch (the one I got off of eBay was from that company).

Hope this helps.

While we're on heat press'. I'm thinking of buying the Ricoa 16x24 Is there a base time frame for curing DTG prints on shirts? We've been doing around 30 secs. a shirt. Is that a norm or should it be more/less...Thanks..........
