Discuss the various aspects of heat press technology. Transfer paper, inks, plastisol transfers, vinyl cutters, printers, commercial usage, durability, suppliers, etc.
Recently I had some transfers of one of my designs. I wasn't happy because I could still see the white box around the image. How do I get rid of this for next time? I have other transfers that I buy premade. They don't have this white box around them so what paper or type of transfers should I use or ask my printer to use in order to get the best looking print.

Those are probably screen printed (plastisol) transfers. You can get those made and they won't leave the box around the design.
Also, many here have stated that ironall /soft feel paper (available at visual-color.com) doesn't leave as much of a box around the design, although most people trim around the design to get rid of the box.
With iron all or any light transfer I trim as close as 1/8th inch. With opaque transfers I trim right at picture edge. Lou
