Default Fro Embroidery to Heat Transfers

I do a lot of embroidery for school, church, and indivuals. The school uses lots of screen printing I have been asked to do screen printing or heat press I don't know how to create designs or should I say I don't have a program to create designs, what do I do?

Buy graphics software such as CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator or download a free software such as Inkscape. Here is a link: SourceForge.net: Inkscape: Files

You also need a heat press, inkjet or laser printer and inkjet or laser transfer papers or by custom transfer with your design.

Thanks guys, I already have my heat press and have done a few shirts of bought transfers, but need to learn how to create or set designs. I have missed many opportunities. I will check out these sites.
