I just watched this tutorial on how to make heat transfers:

And it's a good video but they were only showing how to do one color designs. I want to make shirts like they have a kurtsshirts.com, the shirts there have many different colors per shirt.

How do I do it, though?

There is a practical limit on the number of colors you can use for vinyl. Here are posts on various techniques multi color vinyl related topics at T-Shirt Forums

The site you referenced probably uses a different technique than vinyl for their multi colored shirts.
